Conversations with Lulu

Today, while we were enjoying our lovely Spring Break, my beautiful daughters got into an altercation in their bedroom. As you know, Lulu is now 5 and her older sister, Abby is 7. We brought them into our room for a consultation. When asked what the situation was, we were informed by Abby that Lulu was not allowing her out of the bedroom until they struck a deal for some sisterly play-time. Lulu was forced to endure a lecture on holding people hostage for playtime as well as make an apology that went something like this:
"Abby, I am sorry I held you hostage until you played with me, and I promise I won't hold you hostage again."
We had a very hard time keeping strait faces with this one...I still have tears in my eyes from laughing so hard.
