I am sitting in the
livingroom, drinking coffee and reading the news. I have just enough
view of Lulu, who is at the counter eating breakfast, to just watch
her. I like to do that. Watch them when they think they are alone. It
gives you insight into who they are. So, I am watching my daughter.
This tiny little person, eating her cereal. She is all at the same
time, eating her cereal, brushing her hair and singing. And, as I am
watching her, feeling gooey inside at her sweet nature....she starts to
belch. Not little girl belches...but big ones, grown up ones..rude
ones! She does this continually for about two minutes. It was
hilarious. She had no idea she was being laughed at..I can be very
ninja sometimes. Then, as soon as it was done...the belching had
ceased, she very quaintly said.."Excuse me..excuse me...excuse me..."
Very softly in a tiny little girl voice. Then continued to eat her
cereal, brush her hair and sing.
She makes my world go 'round....but man is she ever an odd one.

Mom: When Kindergarten starts, I was thinking I would come and volunteer in your classroom so I could be near you.
Lulu: No, you can't.
Mom: Why?
Lulu: Because kindergarten wants me to be a big girl, and I can't be a big girl when you are there.
Mom: Oh
Lulu: You should get a job at McDonalds when I'm at school. Ronald will be there and he will tell you what to do.
